Can kids really be banned from social media? Countries around the world are trying—and already facing hurdles.
First came Australia. Then Canada introduced a law to curb social media use among those under 16 and the United Kingdom (UK) announced plans to ban social media for users aged 16 and under, stating it will follow the same model as Australia. And while the United States has not passed anything on the federal level, several states including California and New York have taken matters into their own hands.
