July 10 (UPI) -- FIFA will sell grass from the 2026 World Cup Final for $450, its official website shows.
The grass will be preserved in an acrylic cube and includes a USB, which features footage confirming its authenticity. Fans who purchase the keepsake will receive a hinged box that holds the grass and USB.
The 2026 World Cup Final will be held at 3 p.m. EDT July 19 in East Rutherford, N.J. Grass for the game was grown by the Carolina Green Corp. in Indian Trail, N.C.
It was transported hundreds of miles and laid over two days at New York New Jersey Stadium. More than two dozen trucks were required from the 12-hour journey.
