Although the Met Office is yet to issue weather warnings, people have been advised to stay hydrated as the conditions could have severe health impacts.‌Temperatures are expected to remain in the 30s into next week too, especially in southern areas. But thankfully for those in need of respite from the scorching weather, forecasting models now suggest much cooler conditions are right around the corner.‌The GFS weather model shows that on July 19, people in Scotland will be waking up to just 4C in some areas. Temperatures at 6am are expected to be below 10C for most people across the UK - only in the east and south-west of England will they reach double digits.By midday, the weather maps show highs of just 14C in the east of England, with 10C to 12C on the cards quite widely across the UK - a far cry from the 30C days we’ve been experiencing as of late.‌Similar temperatures are expected the following day too. The GFS model shows highs of just 15C in southern areas at around midday on July 12.Temperature anomaly maps for this period show the UK shaded in areas of deep blue.
