Enemies strike evacuation team in Druzhkivka with drone—three police officers and two civilians were wounded

In Druzhkivka, Donetsk region, a Russian drone attacked the White Angels evacuation unit; three police officers and two evacuated men were wounded.

According to Ukrinform, the Donetsk Regional Police reported this on Facebook.

“In Druzhkivka, a Russian FPV drone struck the White Angels as they were evacuating a man with reduced mobility in a wheelchair and his son. Journalists from the Inter TV channel filmed the cynical attack,” the statement reads.

Three police officers, as well as both men, sustained shrapnel wounds.

As the police noted, “they had only a few minutes to stop the bleeding and bandage their own wounds and those of the civilians, because a second drone was already closing in.”
