Image: Matti Myller / YleYle News14:52The body recovered from the sea off Kruunuvuorenranta in Helsinki on Thursday has been identified as the 18-year-old Indian engineering student who went missing in May.Finland's National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) found the body during a search conducted on 9 July.Police in the capital are continuing to investigate the cause of death, but said that at this stage there is no suspicion any crime has been committed.The student, who had moved to Finland last autumn to study engineering at LUT University in Lahti, was last seen in the Kruunuvuorenranta area in early May. He is understood to have travelled by Z-train from Lahti to Helsinki on Tuesday 5 May before the last confirmed sighting of him at a K-Market store in Kruunuvuorenranta.His disappearance prompted extensive searches by the NBI, assisted by Helsinki Police and the Finnish Border Guard.The NBI said no further information will be released while the investigation continues.
