Ahead of England’s 2026 World Cup quarter-final against Norway, Rogers went on record backing captain Harry Kane to outperform Erling Haaland when the two nations meet in what is shaping up to be the tournament’s most anticipated knockout clash.
Rogers kept it simple and direct during a training session in Kansas City on July 8-9:
“I hope it’s Harry, and I’m sure it will be. He’s playing at probably the highest level that he’s ever played at.”
