The Duchess of Edinburgh has featured on an episode of British radio soap opera, The Archers.
In May, Sophie, 61, visited BBC Studios in the Mailbox, Birmingham, to meet the show's cast, including Tim Bentick, David Troughton and Susie Riddell, and record the episode.
Prince Edward's wife, dressed in a longline teal dress, was photographed reading a script.
Sophie was also seen laughing with cast members of the hit BBC Radio 4 show, presumably after recording.
She isn't the first royal to feature; in 1984, Princess Margaret made a surprise cameo.
