It also explains why several fans noticed she was wearing a microphone underneath her blue linen suit when she visited the Championships last week.In the new clip, the trio begin talking about the tennis, with Kate remarking: “Earlier in the week, the court is so pristine.” Henman then chipped in: “You know when we look back in the late 90s, early 2000s, it was a bit of a serving competition.” Kate replies: “Yeah, I do remember Sampras”, to which Henman, who suffered several defeats to him joked: “I do remember him.”The conversation then turns to Kate’s Three Peaks Challenge of climbing the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in a day, with Henman asking about the preparation. Kate replied: “I did it in 24 hours - that was the challenge anyway. But I think part of the journey was trying to enjoy the process, enjoy the training beforehand, but also making time during the walk to meet people and enjoy the journey, rather than just quickly getting to the top.“The weather was atrocious. I mean, everybody got soaked through, but it was sort of a stoically British thing to do. You know, you’re soaking wet and everybody is saying ‘come on, we can do it’.”Kate then added she was doing the walk for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity - and said: “I’ve just been blown away by all of the donations. Everyone has been so generous and that’s what keeps you going, knowing you’re doing it for a good cause; it keeps you going through the hard times.”The trio then went back to the tennis, with Kate teasing Henman about his top serve speed, while as they watch Fery in action, the princess remarked: “Oh, lovely shot. But he got there! Lovely. That is seriously good tennis, lovely.”Last week, Kate’s visit to Wimbledon saw her greet tennis fans, who had queued for hours in the hopes of securing a ticket for the tournament. She spoke to hopeful attendees who had waited outside the famous sports ground since as early as 4am to gain access to the championships. The princess, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis Club, then joined stewards to help take payment and hand out tickets to lucky people who managed to gain entry after a long wait.Article continues belowChoose Daily Mirror as a 'Preferred Source' on Google News for quick access to the news you value.Kate MiddletonRoyal Family
