TUGUEGARAO CITY, CAGAYAN, Philippines — The Department of Health in Cagayan Valley has imposed a code white alert status for all health facilities in the region as Typhoon Inday gathers strength as it approaches Northern Luzon.
Dr. Ferdinand Benbenen, DOH regional director, has ordered DOH-operated hospitals to reactivate emergency response mechanisms and form standby emergency teams.

The health team members will be on standby 24/7 for immediate emergency response while the Regional Health Emergency Response Teams are monitoring the activities and may send additional forces, if needed, he added.FEATURED STORIES
