Military widows in Jigawa State have called on the state government to prioritise their welfare through direct engagement and inclusion in government programmes.

The call was made on Thursday when the newly appointed State Coordinator of the Military Widows Association, Barrister Ladi Adamu, led members of the newly inaugurated state executive on a courtesy visit to the office of the Head of Service, Muhammad Dagaceri, in Dutse, the state capital.

Speaking during the visit, Adamu said the meeting was aimed at introducing the new executive members and addressing key welfare concerns affecting widows of fallen military personnel.

She said direct engagement with the government was critical to improving the living conditions of members of the association.
