The upgrade, launched on July 9, brings picture-in-picture mode and faster execution to the platform, essentially turning ChatGPT from a chatbot into something closer to an autonomous coworker.
ChatGPT Work can break multi-hour projects into manageable steps, then execute them, producing reports, spreadsheets, and presentations along the way.
What ChatGPT Work actually does
Give ChatGPT Work a complex task, and it will research, analyze data, interact with files and applications, and produce polished deliverables. All while you monitor the process in real-time.
The picture-in-picture mode lets users keep an eye on what ChatGPT is doing while they continue working on other things.
