Jigawa State Police Command have arrested eight suspects across the state.
The command also recovered stolen cows, vandalised cables, a PS5, plasma TVs and 3,427 assorted drugs in a series of intelligence-led operations across the state, in what the command described as a major breakthrough in its fight against crime.
This was contained in a statement made available to journalists in Dutse, on Thursday, by the Police Public Relations Officer, Jigawa State Command, SP Shi’isu Adam.
According to Adam, the command has sustained proactive and intelligence-driven policing across Jigawa, leading to significant operational successes.
He said the achievements reaffirm the command’s commitment to protecting lives and property, maintaining law and order, and denying criminals any safe haven in the state.
