KAIZER Chiefs to launch their 2026/2027 domestic season by hosting newly-promoted Kruger United on August 1.
The fixture list for the 2026/27 PSL top-flight season made the rounds on social media on Thursday afternoon, with the "Big Three" – Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Kaizer Chiefs – all set to feature on the opening day of the Betway Premiership on August 1.
Pirates are scheduled to begin their title defence against newcomers Milford FC at the Orlando Amstel Arena on Saturday, with a 3.30pm kick-off. With the Buccaneers playing at home, their supporters are expected to turn out in large numbers to back the team.
The Sea Robbers should head into the clash full of confidence and momentum after their pre-season tour in Marbella, Spain, where they are lined up to face Córdoba, Cádiz, Al-Ittihad, Las Palmas, and NEOM.
Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou will be desperate for a flying start to signal their intent for the rest of the campaign, especially after the team dropped their opening two games to Sekhukhune United and Marumo Gallants last season.
