Temperatures tomorrow could reach 36C in southern areas and 33C up north.The GFS weather model predicts similar highs for tomorrow, with 36C possibly coming in southern and western England. It shows areas as far north as Yorkshire could hit 33C, with 35C coming in the south-east of England around London.Temperature anomaly maps for tomorrow reflect this. Areas of deep red and black across the UK indicate that vast swathes of the country will face temperatures well above the seasonal average.The GFS weather model shows seven counties could reach 36C tomorrow. While there’s a small chance of showers elsewhere too, conditions will be mostly “staying dry and predominantly sunny”.The Met Office predicts highs of 35C in southern areas on Saturday, and 32C in northern regions. Those numbers should drop to 33C and 29C on Sunday respectively.Article continues belowThe weekend forecast states: “An easterly breeze this weekend, strongest in the south, brings cloud to eastern coasts whilst the west remains sunnier and hotter. Chance of showers in the southwest on Monday.”Heatwave conditions are expected to gradually ease from next week, although temperatures will remain warm.
