Born on September 26, 1962, Indian actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh is best known for her comedic roles in Bollywood movies, and her appearance in the comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’ Singh made her acting debut in 1987 with the movie ‘Abhishek’ opposite Aditya Pancholi. She rose to prominence with her role in ‘Raja Hindustani’ (1996), and ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ (1998) as Miss Braganza. As of 2021, Singh has appeared in more than 40 Indian films including Tamil, Telugu, and Punjabi movies. She first made her Television debut with the 1987 show ‘Mr. Ya Mrs.’ As of 2021, she has appeared in 12 TV shows, including ‘Nach Baliye 1’ (2005) as a contestant with husband-actor Parmeet Sethi and ‘Comedy Cirus’ (2007-2018) as the judge. She replaced Navjot Singh Sidhu as a guest in 2019 on ‘The Kapil Sharma Show.’ She is the recipient of one Screen Award and one Indian Television Academy Award.
