Rajesh Power Services Ltd (RPSL) on Thursday said it has secured turnkey orders worth ₹653.12 crore (including taxes) from Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Ltd (PGVCL) for underground power distribution projects across Gujarat.The projects involve the conversion of existing 11 kV high-tension (HT) and low-tension (LT) overhead power lines into an underground cable network with a Ring Main System (RMS), along with GIS mapping and asset tagging, across the Bhavnagar, Anjar, Junagadh and Porbandar circles of PGVCL. The time frame for project execution is 18 months, the company stated in a regulatory filing.“The award of ₹653.12 crore worth of orders from PGVCL is a strong endorsement of our execution capabilities, technical expertise and proven track record in delivering complex power infrastructure projects. These orders further reinforce our leadership in underground power distribution projects and our ability to execute large-scale, time-bound assignments with the highest standards of quality and safety,” stated Kurang Panchal, Managing Director of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) company focused on the power transmission and distribution sector.
