Tesla Inc.‘s (NASDAQ:TSLA) Model Y crossover SUV emerged as the best-selling model in the Chinese automotive market in June, as the Elon Musk-led automaker charts sales growth after a period of consistent declines.
Tesla Model Y Dominates
According to data collected by Yiche on Thursday, the Tesla Model Y sold 38,654 units in China in June, making it the best-selling model across all propulsion options, including ICE, EVs, and plug-in hybrids.
The Model Y was also the second-best-selling model in the country in May this year, according to Yiche rankings, as well as being the best-selling car during March 2026 when it sold 39,827 units.
