The Kogi State Police Command says it has concluded its investigation into the death of Mariam Usman, a staff member of Brains Minds Nursery and Primary School in Ugbamaka, Olamaboro Local Government Area, and arrested three suspects who will be prosecuted for alleged criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.
In a statement issued on Wednesday by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Saliu Oyiza Afusat, the command said the investigation began after a complaint was received following Usman's death on June 25, 2026.
According to the police, detectives from the Homicide Section of the State Criminal Investigation Department (SCID), Lokoja, launched an investigation that led to the arrest of three suspects.
