The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense (DIU) has released archival footage of combat operations by fighters from the “Siberian Battalion” unit on the Zaporizhzhia front.
According to Ukrinform, the video was published on the Main Intelligence Directorate’s website.
“Scenes of relentless combat operations on the Zaporizhzhia front—in a video from the ‘Siberian Battalion,’ which is part of the ‘Timur Special Forces Unit’ of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine,” the post reads.
Soldiers from the unit demonstrated the elimination of Russian invaders during a mop-up operation in a populated area in the fall of 2025 and the bombing of enemy positions with shells fired from a heavy drone in the spring of 2026.
The Main Intelligence Directorate emphasized that fighters from the “Siberian Battalion” continue to carry out missions on the front lines.
