Sirayah Shiraz opens up about covering the FIFA World Cup and representing African football.
Internationally acclaimed sports broadcaster Sirayah Shiraz has covered major events such as the Premier League, Formula 1, tennis and basketball, but the Fifa World Cup is what really gets her excited.
The sports journalist, who co-hosts "The Morning Cup" alongside Sarah Hassan, is also part of SuperSport's World Cup coverage.
In a recent interview, Shiraz reflected on what it has been like to cover football's biggest tournament, which kicked off on June 11 and is taking place across Mexico, the US and Canada.
"Every sport has its own magic, but the World Cup is in a league of its own," she said.
