MANILA, Philippines — Kanlaon Volcano on Thursday morning saw a “moderately explosive eruption,” the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Phivolcs said the eruption ended at 7:36 a.m., according to an update posted on their official Facebook page.

In a daily bulletin, Phivolcs said the volcano logged 19 volcanic earthquakes from 12 a.m. on Wednesday until 12:00 a.m. on Thursday.
