Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Ankara during the NATO Summit, where the two leaders focused on expanding cooperation in the energy sector.
Their talks centered on opportunities for closer collaboration in the supply of energy resources, including natural gas, as both countries continue efforts to strengthen regional energy security.
Energy diversification was another key topic of the meeting, with the leaders discussing initiatives aimed at reducing dependence on traditional supply routes and expanding alternative sources of energy.
The conversation also covered ongoing efforts to develop new energy corridors to Europe, a priority intended to improve the continent’s energy connectivity and resilience.
