UKZN to hold special examinations after its School of Law confirms that several examination papers were leaked.
The University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN) will conduct special examinations for affected students in its School of Law after confirming that several examination papers were leaked, prompting the institution to act to protect the integrity of its assessment processes.
UKZN announced that the affected examinations would be rewritten once students returned to campus for the second semester.
This decision aimed to allow sufficient time for students to return from recess, settle back into academic life and prepare adequately for the assessments.
In a statement, UKZN said the decision followed a comprehensive assessment of the incident and was necessary to safeguard the credibility of its qualifications.
