Following the debris slip at the Wayanad tunnel road project site at Kalladi near Meppadi on Tuesday (July 7, 2026), at least 129 people from 48 families living in nearby areas were shifted to a relief camp set up at the Government Polytechnic College, Meppadi.Officials said the camp was accommodating 47 men, 48 women, and 34 children.
