What LEAD tells us about next era of kidney care

For more than a decade, nephrology has helped define what specialty value-based care can look like in practice. That journey began in 2015 with the Comprehensive End-Stage Renal Disease Care model and continues today with the Kidney Care Choices (KCC) model. But now, with KCC scheduled to sunset at the end of 2027, value-based kidney care is approaching a critical transition.
