Slain Nelson Mandela Bay councillor Sicelo Mleve
A second suspect has appeared in the New Brighton Magistrate's Court in connection with the murder of Nelson Mandela Bay ward councillor Sicelo Mleve.
It brings the number of people arrested for the ANC councillor's killing to two.
Police spokeswoman Brigadier Nobuntu Gantana said Ahlumile Stofile, 21, was arrested on Tuesday and appeared in court on Wednesday.
"A second accused in the councillor Sicelo Mleve murder case appeared at the New Brighton magistrate's court today," Gantana said.
