A Mfuleni family's MK1 Golf was stolen in a shocking theft involving noxious fumes.
A Mfuleni family got a rude awakening during the early hours of Tuesday morning when thieves burned a substance at the entryways of the house to keep the family asleep while they stole their white MK1 Golf.
The incident took place before 2am, when the family was woken up by a neighbour banging on their door, who claimed he witnessed the suspects towing the car out of the yard.
The wife explained: “Our neighbour came knocking on the door past two in the morning, saying that he heard noises and dogs barking.
“When he checked, he said he saw the guys busy towing the vehicle out of the yard.
