Your brain on a plate? Human behaviour changes as technology removes friction points... but society and organisations usually only catches up after the fact, when human behaviour has already changed.
Somewhere in the last two years, the place human curiosity begins quietly changed and we didn’t even get to vote on it.
There was no launch party, full champagne service, influencers posting about it, thought leadership pieces on it or leaders debating it, to my knowledge. (Or maybe I wasn’t on that guest list?)
Instead many people, me included, just began asking an AI assistant a question before searching for what we wanted - even before we asked a clever friend, or maybe even our accountant (don't judge).
Search engines spent two decades training us to type a question into a box. So when the box began to answer back (Google, I’m looking at you) - often in point form - something as basic as where curiosity begins, moved.
