As part of its efforts to strengthen women’s pathways back to work, CareerLife Global has supported 24 Nigerian mothers through the fifth cohort of its CareerMoms Mentorship Programme.

The 12-week career re-entry and growth initiative is designed to support mothers who are rebuilding their careers after childbirth, caregiving responsibilities, career breaks, or major life transitions.

The programme, which ran virtually, provided participants with practical training, mentorship, and career support across key areas including personal branding, CV and LinkedIn optimisation, interview preparation, salary negotiation, project management, data analytics, and the use of AI tools for the modern workplace.

For many participants, the programme provided more than career information. It helped them to rebuild confidence, reframe their experiences, and take practical steps towards new employment and professional growth.

“The mentorship helped me see beyond my limitations and believe more in my abilities. It gave me clarity about my career path, equipped me with practical strategies for growth, and challenged me to step out of my comfort zone,” said Oluwaseun, a graduate.
