The Abia State Chairman of the Labor Party, Mr Peter Azubuike, has said the party is the most stable and strong with political structure on ground in the state for the 2027 general elections.
Azubuike said this while addressing journalists during an interactive media engagement in Umuahia.
He noted that the party is structurally and administratively positioned, which accounts for the influx of stakeholders and hundreds of thousands of their supporters from other parties ahead of the 2027 polls.
The Labor Party Chairman expressed confidence that the incumbent state governor, Alex Otti will return as the state governor in 2027, stating that the governor won 2023 election as himself, not because of Peter Obi wave. Azubuike said that in 2015, Otti ran and won the governorship election, regretting, however, that he was robbed of that victory and also in 2019.
