Americans' use of GLP-1 injectables for weight loss reached a record high, nearly quadrupling since 2024, according to a national Gallup poll.

For patients with type 2 diabetes and peripheral artery disease, GLP-1 receptor agonists were linked to lower rates of mortality, major amputations, revascularization, and hospitalization, a retrospective study showed. (Journal of the American Heart Association)
