An Oribe-brand shampoo sold at Sephora and online to customers in Canada is facing a recall after the detection of possibly harmful bacteria.
The “Oribe Serene Scalp Densifying Shampoo” in the 8.5 and 33.8 ounce sizes are affected, according to the shampoo’s manufacturer Kao USA, which voluntarily recalled the product. The affected lot was manufactured between Feb. 21 and Feb. 26 of this year, and has one of three lot codes printed on the bottom of the bottle: YR010556, YR010566, YR010576.
