Russia and Ukraine are seeking a peace agreement that could happen soon.
According to an Ukrinform correspondent, U.S. President Donald Trump said this during a meeting with the President of Turkey.
Trump said that both Putin and Zelensky wanted to resolve the conflict and that he believed a peace agreement would be reached soon. He added that they both wanted to make a deal and remarked that, although it was unfortunate that the process had taken so long, he believed progress would be made.
Trump also stated that he had had a "very good" conversation with Vladimir Putin on Monday.
