Honor is, like everyone else, jumping on the wide foldable idea in the not-too-distant future, but with a battery that makes the Galaxy Z Fold 8 look like a joke.
The idea of a wide foldable originated with Android, but is seeing a resurgence thanks to the “iPhone Fold,” whatever that might end up being called.

And, as such, every big name in foldables is rushing to do the same thing. Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 8 is getting a short and stout redesign with a wider inner display, while other brands are set to follow not too far behind, including Honor, as was previously reported.
Digital Chat Station on Weibo says that Honor’s wide foldable is coming along and has a set goal in mind – to have the largest battery among this returning form factor. Where Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold 8 is expected to have a mere 4,800 mAh battery, the wide Honor foldable will apparently hit 7,000 mAh.
