Kurnool Assembly constituency Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) and Municipal Commissioner Challa Obulesu has urged voters who have not yet received the enumeration form, as part of the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll, to contact staff at the nearest Secretariat on July 8 (Wednesday) to obtain the form.Mr. Obulesu on Tuesday inspected the SIR process covering polling stations 161, 163, and 166 in the vicinity of Chakali Veedhi and Kothapeta Rythu Bazaar. Speaking on the occasion, he urged every voter to treat the SIR initiated by the Election Commission of India (ECI) with responsibility and high priority.He said that a special facility had been arranged for voters who have not yet received the enumeration form to collect it from the nearest Secretariat on Wednesday. He instructed that after obtaining the form, voters should affix two passport-sized photographs, attach a copy of their Aadhaar card, fill in details regarding their own or their ancestors’ votes from the year 2002, and submit the form to the designated Enumeration BLO (Booth Level Officer).He said that the BLO’s name and phone number would be available on the enumeration form. It was also stated that the enumeration form can be filled out and submitted online via the Election Commission of India’s website https://voters.eci.gov.in/.Meanwhile, a public awareness campaign regarding the SIR process, utilising 10 autorickshaws equipped with loudspeakers, was launched on Tuesday.
