A Sunday night drive ended in tragedy when a woman was shot dead in an alleged hit at the KwaDukuza off-ramp.
The 59-year-old woman was sitting in the driver's seat of her vehicle at a stop sign when an unknown gunman allegedly got out of another vehicle, opened fire, and fled.
Her daughter, who was with her, escaped with minor injuries.
Samantha Meyrick, IPSS Medical Rescue spokesperson, said paramedics responded to reports of a shooting at the KwaDukuza off-ramp.
