The lawmaker representing Ijebu North I State Constituency in the Ogun State House of Assembly, Rasheed Kashamu, has thrown his weight behind the governorship ambition of Senator Solomon Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, describing him as the most prepared and experienced candidate to lead the state into its next phase of development.
According to a statement issued on Tuesday, the son of the late Senator Buruji Kashamu insisted that “the next governor of the state must be a leader whose credentials are built on years of proven public service, sound legislative experience, financial expertise and a demonstrable commitment to improving the lives of the people.”
Kashamu cited Adeola’s extensive career in public service, describing it as what has distinguished him as one of Nigeria’s most accomplished legislators.
He added, “Adeola’s journey from the House of Assembly to the House of Representatives and subsequently the Senate reflects years of consistent leadership and dedication to nation-building. Leadership is about preparation, competence and performance.
