Obi made the revelation in a statement posted on his official X account on Monday following a visit to Ibadan, alongside political economist, Prof. Pat Utomi, where they met with Governor Makinde.
According to the former Anambra State governor, he had assumed that President Tinubu had maintained regular contact with the Oyo governor over efforts to secure the release of the abducted children, only to discover during their meeting that no such communication had taken place.
