After a devastating fire in Reservoir Hills, a mother and her seven children find themselves homeless, but the community's swift response brings hope and support.
Relief efforts are under way to help the family, which includes three girls aged 17, 6, and 5, as well as four boys aged 3, 7, 10, and 15.
Since Thursday, residents have rallied to provide clothing and temporary accommodation for the family.
Deshini Naidoo, a neighbour situated on Middlemiss Crescent, said they initially thought the smell of smoke was from a grass fire in the area.
