The Valorant Champions Tour Americas Stage 2 group draw is in, and competitive Valorant fans are already calling the Omega group a death sentence. G2 Esports, 100 Thieves, and KRÜ Esports all landed in the same bracket, turning what should be a routine round-robin into something closer to a playoff gauntlet before the playoffs even start.
The draw took place on May 24, splitting 12 teams into two groups: Alpha and Omega.
What the format actually looks like
Stage 2 runs from July 16 to August 9, with teams in each group playing single round-robin matches in a best-of-three format. The top finishers from each group advance into a double-elimination playoff bracket.
The draw show used seed pools derived from previous tournament results to determine placements.
