L’Oréal Groupe and the Estée Lauder Cos. helped the Consulate General of France in New York celebrate the 250th anniversary of American independence and the 140th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty Thursday evening on Liberty Island.
At the invitation of the Consulate General of France, Monumental Tour, which hosts immersive experiences at iconic monuments, unveiled “Liberty Lights,” a musical and visual show by electronic artist Michael Canitrot on Liberty Island, including a light show on the Statue of Liberty.
There was also a flyover above Liberty Island featuring the Patrouille de France of the French Air and Space Force, painting the colors of the French flag over the Statue of Liberty.
L’Oréal Groupe, JPMorgan Chase, Estée Lauder, Eric and Wendy Schmidt, Fidji Simo and Gildo Pastor were among the event’s partners.
Among the attendees were JPMorgan’s chairman and chief executive officer Jamie Dimon, Adriana Lima, Lais Ribeiro and Joakim Noah.
