A two-month-old baby died after a car overturned near Thiruppathur on Monday.Police said, Subramanian, 31, a resident of Keezhamadam near Thiruppathur in Sivaganga district, was returning to his native village in a car on Monday evening from Thirumayam in Pudukkottai district, along with his wife Sumathi, 30, two-month-old baby, and two other children aged seven and nine.When they were proceeding near the Nedumaram bridge area near Thiruppathur, a cow suddenly crossed the road.As the driver pulled the break to avoid crashing into the cow, he lost control of the car and it overturned into a roadside ditch.In this accident, the two-month-old baby girl died on the spot.
