EPFL continues to strengthen its AI capabilities for education with the arrival of three new team members who will contribute to the development, deployment, and adoption of AI-powered solutions for teaching, learning, and assessment.Samuel Bourgeat joins us as AI Engineer for Educational Assessment & Feedback, where he will contribute to the development of AI solutions that support assessment practices, streamline evaluation workflows, and provide meaningful, personalised feedback to students.Spiros Chalkias joins as AI Engineer for Educational Applications, focusing on the design and implementation of AI-powered educational tools that enhance teaching and learning experiences for both instructors and students.Anna Sotnikova joins as AI for Education Platform Specialist & Benchmark Engineer, helping expand the adoption of our AI infrastructure across EPFL while ensuring that AI systems meet high standards of quality, responsibility, sustainability, and performance. She will also strengthen collaborations with the EPFL AI Center to connect educational applications with the latest AI research.Together, they will help expand EPFL's secure AI ecosystem for education, building on our existing platform of AI tutors, intelligent agents, semantic search, and analytics services. Their combined expertise will support the development of trustworthy, scalable AI solutions that empower instructors, enrich student learning, and accelerate educational innovation across the university.We are delighted to welcome Samuel, Spiros, and Anna to the team and look forward to the impact they will make in advancing AI for education at EPFL.
