Saffron Vieira, 22, downloaded Hinge after her six-year relationship ended in January. She connected with 27-year-old business-owner Ross Norminton on Tuesday, June 16. - and he had been using Hinge for just a week. Ross complimented Saffron's tan and jokingly suggested they go on holiday so he could compete with her.Saffron agreed and he promptly booked a last-minute trip to Greece that evening. Saffron, a carer and a nursery worker, met Ross for the first time en route to the airport on Saturday, June 20 - just four days after matching online.Since arriving in Rhodes, Saffron says it's felt like the pair have always known each other, and have even extended their trip to travel to another Greek island together. The couple have been getting on so well, they've booked another holiday to Thailand next January and Ross is even planning on getting Saffron a key cut on their return home. The spontaneous getaway has left both Saffron and Ross confident that their whirlwind romance will continue back in the UK. Saffron, who lives in Brighton, East Sussex said: "When I downloaded Hinge, I didn't go on any dates. I kind of used the app and got bored of it, I wasn't having much luck."I matched with Ross then we had a holiday booked that same day. He messaged me saying 'think you might be more tanned than me' and I said 'there might be a slight possibility'."Then he said 'well we best get on a flight so I have a chance' and I put 'spontaneous trip?' and he put 'I'd leave today'. We did have a few conversations throughout the day then the holiday was booked that night. He said to me 'where do you want to go?' and I said Greece. And neither of us had been to Greece so we thought we'd go."Just days after matching on Hinge, the pair flew from London Gatwick Airport to Rhodes in Greece and have already made plans to extend their trip. Ross said: "I wasn't exactly sure she would accept it to be honest, and when she did I thought okay let's go."There wasn't any part of me that thought this could go wrong. The holiday was originally a week but we're going to extend it and go to another island somewhere."Saffron added: "We were speaking every day until the trip. I'm quite spontaneous so this isn't really past me. He came to pick me up from my house then we drove to the airport. That was the first time we met. He came to my house with flowers, a Jellycat and my favourite drink."He said hello to my family just to make sure I wasn't getting kidnapped. My mum at first did think it was slightly insane but they've all since given the approval."Saffron said: "It wasn't weird at all. It feels like we already know each other. We've been having a great time, we don't actually want to go home. We've actually planned to go to Thailand in January together - we've already got the flight booked. We want to travel around there together."Article continues belowRoss added: "I can definitely see it working back home. I'm going to get her a key cut for my house. I think we're both on the same page. We're not actually rushing it, we're both just open to it. We're very similar in a lot of ways. I don't feel like I've just met her."In response, Saffron said: "I'm open-minded [about moving in] to be fair. I just think 'has he got room for my wardrobe?'"
