The ambassadors of the Group of Seven (G7) countries met with National Bank of Ukraine Governor Andriy Pyshnyy to discuss macroeconomic stability and Ukraine's implementation of its International Monetary Fund (IMF) program.
According to Ukrinform, the diplomats shared details of the meeting in a post on X.
"G7 ambassadors met with Mr. Andriy Pyshnyy, Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine, to discuss Ukraine's macro-economic stability, the role of the NBU, and implementation of Ukraine's IMF program. Ambassadors reaffirm their support of NBU's independence," the statement said.

Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko said on July 3 that Ukraine had submitted all the necessary documents for the IMF Executive Board meeting, which is currently expected to take place before July 20.
