The PSC will formally hand over its report on SITA to Minister Solly Malatsi after completing an investigation into governance failures, internal conflict and procurement irregularities at the agency.
Minister of Communications and Digital Technologies Solly Malatsi and the Public Service Commission (PSC) are briefing the media on the findings of a report into the State Information Technology Agency (SITA).
The briefing follows an inquiry into governance failures, leadership instability and alleged procurement irregularities at the entity.
In a joint statement, DCDT spokesperson Nomawethu Solwandle and PSC spokesperson Zodwa Mtsweni said the probe followed Malatsi's December 2024 request that the PSC conduct an independent investigation into the entity.
The investigation examined governance failures, leadership instability, internal infighting, weak accountability and decision-making processes within SITA.
