Shahram Irani, the Commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Navy, delivered a fiery address during the high-profile funeral processions for the late Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei. Irani warned that foreign adversaries must immediately prepare themselves to face “Muslim warriors” who are explicitly seeking “blood revenge” for their slain leadership and commanders.

Issuing a direct threat to the United States and Israel, the naval commander asserted that hostile nations will soon face a “crushing blow and slap” that will “completely shatter their faces.”

Speaking elsewhere in his address, Irani pointed to the crowds of regime loyalists gathering for the late Supreme Leader’s burial ceremonies, framing the mass mobilization as a definitive renewal of allegiance to the ideological tenets of the Islamic Republic.

In a concurrent interview with Yemen’s Houthi-run Al-Masirah television network, Irani claimed that asymmetric resistance is no longer restricted to a single geographic theater. He stated that adversaries are no longer fighting localized factions but are now locked in a confrontation with “Great Islam and the global Islamic Resistance Front.”

Echoing the military’s aggressive rhetoric, Ebrahim Azizi, the chairman of Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, issued a separate public warning. Azizi stated that the international community must accept that Iran will inevitably exact severe vengeance for its slain leader, targeted military commanders, and civilian casualties. He emphasized that the definitive message emerging from the ongoing mourning congregations at the Tehran Grand Musalla is one of “total retaliation.”
