One of which included the latest World Cup match, which saw England win against Mexico with a final score of 3-2.‌The duo opened the show with Sarah announcing: "They overcame hostile crowds, a red card and the effects of altitude." Jon added: "It's been hailed as one of the team's greatest-ever performances. The exhausted players celebrated with fans until the roar of the three lions became more of a croak."‌It then played a clip of England's captain, Harry Kane, with a rather raspy voice as he told the camera after the game: "All the occasion, the team, everything against us. We found a way."Throughout the programme, there was also coverage from Mexico City where the BBC spoke to fans after the match in the early hours of this morning, alongside the programme speaking to a Primary school who were going to be watching the game with pupils this morning.‌However, it looks as though viewers weren't thrilled with how much the sporting news was being covered on the programme, as they rushed to social media to share their complaints.One person said: "Is there any other news apart from a bunch of big boys kicking a bag of wind. Get a grip."Another wrote: "They've been talking about this for over 10 minutes."
