Russia's gasoline imports from Belarus reached a record high in June.
That is according to Current Time, citing Russian media and data from the Center for Price Indices (CPI), Ukrinform reports.
According to the data, Russia imported 141,000 tonnes of gasoline between June 1 and 25 – nearly two and a half times more than during the entire month of May. By comparison, imports totaled just 1,000 tonnes in June last year.

According to the CPI, Belarus redirected to Russia part of the fuel that had previously been supplied to Central Asian countries. At the same time, the volume of Belarusian gasoline transiting through Russian territory fell from 196,000 tonnes at the beginning of the year to 24,000 tonnes in June.
