Tallia Storm said goodbye to her dad, Sascha Hartman, just days after it was announced that he had died suddenly in Switzerland and during his funeral, she performed a song22:50, 05 Jul 2026Updated 22:50, 05 Jul 2026Tallia Storm honoured her dad by performing at his funeral. Tallia's mum, Real Housewives star Tessa Hartman, announced at the end of last month that her husband, Sascha, had died suddenly in Switzerland, less than a year after they had relocated there. But today, as the family said goodbye to the businessman, Tallia performed at his funeral to honour her father saying: "Sascha we love you," as she sang about the "darkest night" and brighter days.As her performance drew to a close, she was seen struggling to contain her emotions behind a pair of oversized sunglasses. Tallia and her brother also performed at Sascha's wake, with her younger brother playing the piano.Tallia, 27, shared images taken throughout the day on Instagram, including a picture of her family gathering as Sascha's coffin was taken out of the hearse by the sea before his funeral.Captioning her post, she said: "My amazing Dad. There are no words to ever explain the emotions of this last week. @artbyharti I wasn't going to post about the funeral but my Dad was the greatest man I ever met so I will, and I know that as someone who shares every part of their life as a creator, I feel I have a bigger purpose now to send - as we aren't alone. We are all in this life together, every single one of us, growing older and wiser together."Over the past week, I've been overwhelmed by thousands of messages from people sharing their own stories of losing parents, siblings, partners and friends."She added: "Before this, I'd see those posts on Instagram, send a message of [heart, dove and praying emoji], and carry on with my day. I never truly understood the weight of that grief until now. Grief is incredibly lonely, hard to articulate & never linear. I find it hard to put into words, but it's also reminded me that none of us are ever truly alone."Prior to the death of her father, Tallia says she had never experienced a loss "like this before," and had never envisioned saying goodbye to her father. "Looking back now, I realise what an incredible privilege that was," she commented, adding: "You never imagine you'll be the one standing at the front of the church saying goodbye to someone you love more than words can ever explain. But here we are, and I know my Dad would be telling me to look & think bigger."Sascha's funeral, however, wasn't just a funeral, Tallia told her followers it was a "celebration of life", with the family flying their favourite choir in from London, with her brother Zac on the saxophone and keys, with her whole family getting involved. "Mum with an incredible speech, Tessies strength & nothing but love across the entire church," she commented.Article continues belowTallia was inundated with support, with Isabel Webster writing: "To have the strength to sing and perform at your daddy's celebration of life must have been the hardest thing in the world. The hardest. My heart is breaking for you all. You did him proud." Myleene Klass penned: "I am so incredibly sorry for your loss." Megan Barton-Hanson added: "Sending you all my love, so sorry for your loss."If you have been affected by this story, Cruse Bereavement Support offers free help to make sense of how you are feeling.
